The Tennessee Writers Alliance is a state-wide, non-profit organization aimed at supporting the work of Tennessee writers. TWA organizes workshops, competitions, and other events for writers.

NWA is a support group for writers in the Nashville area. The small group meets every week to share and critique each others’ works in progress and to share news. The site includes many useful links for writers.
The Council for the Written Word: http://cww-writers.org
The Council focuses on recognizing and promoting the art of writing in Williamson County, Tennessee. Its objective is to encourage, educate, and empower writers by hosting two annual workshops and a writing critique group, which meets twice monthly.

The association is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promote the art and craft of screenwriting and to support screenwriters.

The ATHENA Award and Scholarship Program honors outstanding women of Nashville for their skills in business, leadership and service to their community. Our chapter has sponsored a WNBA Nashville member as a nominee since 1993.
