The Women's National Book Association is a national organization of women and men who work with and value books. WNBA exists to promote reading and to support the role of women in the community of the book. The Association came into being in 1917 and has eight chapters: Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
Membership
WNBA has several categories of membership:
- Active Members are regular memberships for persons living in the Nashville area;
- Network Members are individuals who do not live in a city with a WNBA chapter;
- Sustaining Members are corporations or individuals that support WNBA financially.
Active Membership
Join the Nashville Chapter of WNBA as an Active Member for a $25 fee. Memberships run from June to June of every year.Fill out this membership application and send $25 for a year's membership to Treasurer:

Network Membership
Network membership may be applied for through the national website. More information on the Network membership may be found in the Network Membership section of the national site.
Sustaining Membership
Sustaining membership is open to firms, individuals, or organizations that support the goals and activities of WNBA. The Nashville Chapter welcomes all inquiries regarding this type of membership.
